The Patriot IP Receiver Module enables monitoring of selected IP equipped alarm panels via TCP/IP networks. 

No receiver is required - an important cost saving for the monitoring station.  IP signalling can be via LAN/WAN/VLAN and internet avoiding expensive PSTN call charges.

IP Panels are polled at regular intervals and Patriot notifies operators if there is a communication failure. This could be caused by a network fault or malicious attack. Operators can view the online / fault status of all panels at any time. IP Panels usually also have backup dialler capability.

Operating in a similar fashion to direct line systems such as EarthNet, Emizon, Secritel or Redcare, IP provides an improved level of security to that offered by PSTN monitoring. As most businesses and many residences already have broadband facilities, the ongoing costs of IP monitoring will be negligible.
